Chief Matthew McKay


Chief McKay officially took over the Georgetown Fire Department (GTFD) on January 1, 2023. He started his career with the GTFD in 2002 and has worked himself up through the ranks from Lieutenant, Captain, and Deputy Chief.

The Georgetown Fire Department is a municipal combination fire department with a full-time chief and 5 full time firefighters, supplemented by approxmatley 20 call firefighters, located in the town of Georgetown, Massachusetts.
